Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our expedition representative will welcome you and transfer you to your five-star hotel in Kathmandu. This is your first opportunity to meet the Nepal Voyage Treks team, complete the arrival formalities, and settle into the capital before beginning the Everest expedition. The day is intentionally relaxed, allowing you to recover from international travel, adjust to the time difference, and prepare mentally for the adventure ahead.
Kathmandu is a historic city surrounded by the Himalayan foothills. On a clear day, distant mountain ranges may be visible from elevated parts of the city, although Everest itself is not normally visible from central Kathmandu. The surrounding valley contains subtropical and temperate vegetation, including cultivated fields, trees, and urban gardens. Birdlife such as kites, crows, and common urban species may be seen. There is no trekking trail today; the journey is by road through the busy Kathmandu Valley.
